Julie Austin Solo Concert Description

SongSister Julie Austin offers a unique blend of humorous, energetic and irresistible children's music in a sing-along, move-along concert - guaranteed to have your hands clapping, toes tapping and fingers snapping!

Julie sings, tells stories, and accompanies herself on guitar, jawharp and autoharp. She encourages her audience to sing, move, and dance throughout the concert. Julie also uses sign mime (a combination of sign language and gestures) which gets everyone involved.

Since 1986, Julie has traveled throughout the country playing children and family concerts. She has five popular children's recordings. Her most recent CD, Fandagumbo, is a Parent's Choice Silver Honor's winner. Julie's warmth, sense of humor and musical expertise make her a favorite of audiences everywhere.

Julie Austin and David Mosher - Duo Concert

Julie Austin and David Mosher feature a unique blend of humorous, energetic and irresistible children's music in a sing-along, move-along concert.

Julie sings, tells stories and accompanies herself on a variety of instruments including guitar, jawharp and autoharp while David joins her on fiddle, banjo, mandolin, bass, guitar and vocals.

All songs are interactive, with audiences dancing, moving, singing and using gestures or sign language. Since 1986, Julie has traveled throughout the country as a performer, Wolf Trap Master Artist, a High/Scope Consultant/Teacher Trainer, and Early Childhood Specialist. She has made several nationally acclaimed recordings including the Parent's Choice Silver Honor's Winner, Fandagumbo.
